This is the first of several notices for the need for personnel to join this unique group of Non Profits, naval organizations, conservation organizations, Cook Island governments, doctors, dentists, environmental and engineering groups, divers and shipping companies to execute a humanitarian project in the Cook Islands, South Pacific.

This will be the trip of a life time and a chance to experience a South Pacific group of islands called The Cook Islands. This is just the kind of experience that will enhance your resume for more and varied jobs in the future.

Depending on your expertise you will spend an estimated five days on each one of fourteen islands providing aerial drone operation, image acquisition, gis functions, survey mapping, underwater photography and data gathering for use in our GIS data base. Knowledge of ESRI software is a big plus as well as aerial imagery mutilation. Marine biology and coral reef knowledge would be very useful.

Selection process will be over a 60 day period from now and the project will last approximately four months. You will board an Ocean Guardian 213’ cutter here in the US and will sail to the Cook Islands for this exciting once in a life time expedition. You will return the same way and to the same location.

A detailed discussion with each applicant will begin now and will continue for two months. Details are still being worked out but we want to start now to be ready for departure in January or February. Start by sending me your resume asap.
